Published in London by Geoffrey Bes, March 1935. First edition and impression. Bound in the publisher's hardcover boards, titled in white to the upper board and spine. Spine ends a little bumped, light soiling to the boards. Top edge with green stain, a little damp staining to this; fore and lower edges untrimmed. Map endpapers chart the voyage of the Tai Mo Shan. The front endpapers chart Hong Kong, to Japan and the Aleutian Islands and onwards to Canada and the United States, with the rear endpapers continuing on down the West Coast of the US, onwards to Mexico, through the Panama Canal, Jamaica and Bermuda, across the Atlantic to end the journey in the UK. Pages with a little age toning, but generally clean and tight with the block sound. Wonderful travelogue from the interwar years. The Yacht 'Tai Mo Shan' is named after the highest peak in Hong Kong and was more recently used in the movie 'Mama Mia.' Good/None”
