The casing gives off lots of radiant heat so it must be used in a large and ventilated area. It is at forging temps with the choke sleeves at perhaps 20%. At full throttle I think it would be a considerable handful. But, it's effective and I'm pleased I bought it; just be sure to use it with sensible precaution.
