This auction catalogue was for the "Important American Folk Art Collection of the late Bernard M. Barentoltz" sale at Sotheby's New York on January 23rd, 1990. Mr. Barenholtz was the co-founder of the Creative Playthings children's toy company and an avid early American toy and folk art collector. There were many pieces of rare early American carved wooden weather vanes, rocking horses and paintings. I have dozens of vintage catalogue's dating back to the early 1960's all the way up to the 2000's from Sotheby's, Christie's, Skinner's, Bourne's, Doyle's & many more. It has the original absentee bidder form. It is in great overall condition for its age with color loss to the cover but the interior pages are in beautiful condition. It is mostly black and white with color plates of sale highlights, it is over 150 pages.”
