amplifies everything around you- wind, traffic, animals- was hoping voices would be amplified and residual noises dulled as advertised to help hear better but it becomes chaotic, having the incorrect canal seal is a piercing sound in or out of the ear and any movement to lodge the piece comfortably in the ear is met with this sound everytime you touch it, the instructions advise it can be taken to the nearest professional to manage adjustments but I’m regional so not a lot of that happening.
