Unfortunately, these items I have for sale are ineligible for AppleCare warranties as these devices had previously been purchased via VPP for a corporate retail use. They have never been opened and are in fact factory sealed, as pictured. I will be updating the item description once your refund goes through, and I would implore you in the future to message with the buyer first if you are looking to get a warranty on an item that was EOL 2 years ago.
