The item came to me in good shape. It was described as new in box which it was. The original sales paperwork from 1997 was in the box. The only issue that I found with the item was a loose piece of the engine in the box. To me this was a little expected from an item that has been sitting in a box for close to 20 years. The only other thing were the shipping costs which were about middle of the road. I've seen more & I've seen less.
