the item arrived in good condition externally. However, inside the case, that is, in the lining the poly styrene foam packaging had melted onto the nylon lining of the Bible case and had to be carefully picked off which was quite a chore and disappointing. the Bible has not been put into the carry case yet as it would be a pity to also spoil such a valuable book. Hopefully the nylon will dry where I had to scrub the polystyrene. Perhaps a layer of protective brown paper would have avoided this.
