Forschungsarbeit aus dem Jahr 2002 im Fachbereich Psychologie - Entwicklungspsychologie, Note: 1,3, Martin-Luther-Universitat Halle-Wittenberg (Institut fur Psychologie), Veranstaltung: Empiriepraktikum, 17 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit beschaftigt sich mit der Fragestellung, wie Kinder im Alter von sieben bis zehn Jahren Geschichten, die ihnen vorgelesen werden, direkt und nach zwei Stunden wiedergeben. Untersucht wird gleichzeitig, ob sich Kinder gleichen Alters bezuglich ihres Sprachentwicklungsstandes unterscheiden und inwieweit dies einen Einfluss auf ihr Textgedachtnis hat. Dabei orientierten wir uns insbesondere an der Theorie von Kintsch. Nach dem Textverstehensmodell von Van Dijk und Kintsch (1983) resultiert die Mikrostruktur eines Textes aus einer Koharenzanalyse, wobei die elementaren Propositionen eines Textes zu einer hierarchischen Struktur zusammengefugt werden (Kintsch, 1994, 41). Die Mikrostruktur eines Textes entspricht dem Stoff fur weitere Verarbeitungsschritte und bestimmt demnach die Herausarbeitung der Makrostruktur. So ist beispielsweise das Verstehen wissensintensiv, da hier sowohl adaquates Wissen, als auch Enkordierungsstrategien wichtig sind. Die entscheidende mentale Reprasentation entspricht dem Situationsmodell. Dieses zeigt, was ein Text uber bestimmte Situationen aussagt und zieht Schlusse aus dem Verhaltnis der Information des Textes zu dem Vorwissen des Kindes. Es ist die psychologisch realisierte Bedeutungsvorstellung (Reprasentation) dessen, woruber der Text eine Aussage trifft. Van Dijks und Kintschs Modell (1983) befasst sich mit den mentalen Kalkulationen, die noetig sind, um verschiedene Text- und Situationsreprasentationen aufzubauen. Der Gegenstandsbereich der Theorie ist vor allem die Konstruktion von Bedeutungseinheiten (Propositionen), die Rolle des begrenzten Arbeitsgedachtnisses und die Erleichterung des Verstandnisses durch eine konventionelle und schematische Textstruktur
