The shoes are 8.5, not 8. However they fit. But the moment I took them out of the box (which was well packaged and undamaged) I noticed wear and tear not present in the photos. I should have asked about the side straps that are well hidden in the photos; but the to strap on the right shoe has a lot of wear. The brown/orange outer is falling apart in our hands. When my wife was adjusting the ankle strap the same thing happened. I would not have sold shoes like this, let alone purchased them.
