This setting was the wrong size and though I contacted the seller, the response was that the problem was my stone. Several emails but zero customer service.

Buyer purchased the wrong type of setting. They purchased a setting for a faceted cut gemstones when they had a cabochon gemstones. Cab cut gemstones will not work for faceted cut gemstones. Pre-notched settings are specifically designed for faceted gemstones and ALWAYS measure less than the faceted gemstone they hold. Please read item description as we state, these settings will only work for faceted gems, not cabs. I communicatd this to buyer several times but didn't understand the concept.
