The overall condition is excellent with original boxes/liners with no set box. The 671 engine is a beautiful piece with great patina and the correct wheel type for 1948 as well as a Middle classic box. The engine has been tested and serviced and is positive for working light, Smoke, Forward, Reverse, Acceleration, Steps, No Rust, minor edge chips, Nose decal complete, The 2671W Tender is the rare original introduced early in 1948 because it has the original back up lights with red bar, silver lettering , all steps, no breaks or cracks (Hard to find), strong whistle, working couplers, original shell - The Tender wires are vintage with bulb assembly & minor flaking per age and included are close up photos of the internals comparable to 2nd edition Lionel Trains. The cars have working lights, all steps, working couplers, bright and shiny with minor yellow strip nicks and very clean running gear and roofs. Correct 3 city boxes-Liners.”
