This is a very cheaply made low quality product. A tortoise shell pickguard is supposed to a translucent layer with the tortoise shell effect imbued into the top layer of the plastic. This was just a cheap surface printing job and this should have been disclosed in the description. Their “tortoise shell pickguard” is too cheap and nasty to put on a quality guitar.
