At first I was worried that the extra costs of VAT and import would make this dearer than buying the same model from Amscope UK, as no indication of what these might be were shown in the checkout cart. Contact with the company said these would be shown in the checkout for each country, but just the item price was there. When the microscope was delivered I had expected an additional charge, but there wasn’t one. So in fact what you see in the checkout is actually all that you pay.
