The lights sit flush just like the OEM's do and the smoked color looks nice. The only issue I had was that the pins in the new light didn't align with the holes in the harness. Once I figured that out, I was able to bend them slightly so they would go into the connector and lock into place. I wish I had bought the white LED's now, to match the lights on the car.
