Sadly the item was damaged so badly it was useless. The seller said he would ship a new one the next day but again sadly never did. I did try to make contact to hear if he had shipped it (more than a week later) but never got an answer.

The item is in worse condition than the posting shows. The doors don’t open a close properly, the base plate is crooked, and you certainly couldn’t shave it it. It’s disappointing because it took a long time to arrive, but it’s not even of reasonable quality. I’ll keep it to remind myself of how the Soviet Union copied western designs but used some inferior materials. It’s a curiosity piece, but I wouldn’t recommend anyone else buy one.
