The planned Fehmarnbelt fixed link is an immersed tunnel under the Baltic Sea that will connect the German offshore island of Fehmarn with the Danish island of Lolland, hence providing a direct link by railroad and highway between northern Germany and the Danish island of Lolland, and on to Zealand.
