Input and output are stereo mini, and if you connect it with mono, the device will short out. Since the instructions were in Chinese, I didn't get that. So, after help from the seller, I converted all the stereo to mono for my ham radio and speaker. It worked…briefly. When I tried to connect it to my Rado 12V power supply, it shorted out. As it is solid state, I can't repair it without new components. It is now an expensive paperweight
