Not authentic. I purchased a Cloud II headset directly from the HyperX website just to compare them, and I can confirm this headset is not real. The headband is cheap and flimsy, and the casing feels cheap. The audio is also very bass boosted and there's a loud white noise sound no matter if it's plugged into the audio card or directly into the headphone jack on my PC. I attached pictures of the real headset from HyperX's website (right) vs the one I purchased (left).

I not sure you are why buy the white cound II headset and go to buy the black&red and do the unenlightened Evaluation and comparison!! they are not the same one!!Actually, if you love the red one you can buy it very easy!
