Condenser was listed as Good Condition, and iris control is a bit stiff. After unboxing it, I noticed the iris binding up and would hardly move, so I took it apart. I discovered the seller spread grease everywhere (see pix). Despite promptly refunding me, he declined to disclose the type of grease used, even after I asked twice. The grease was greenish and emitted a petroleum-like odor, which experience says it’s corrosive to brass. His defensive stance leaves me with doubts and concerns.
