No communication whatsoever. Item came with European plug. In the description, it says it is 230V, but in the Manual it is 110V. I asked the question for clarification, but no response. I will now have to wait and see what the sparky thinks about this item. It is plumbed in ready to be connected to the electricity. I hope I won't need a transformer...
