Lid reads "Medailles Regne De Napoleon" with French Imperial Coated Arms Below. Two brass handles, one broken. Front panel has been detached, no key, lock is open. Eight sky-blue painted and numbered fitted trays in soft velvet with varying fixed size medal slots, Approx. 135 spaces in the 1st 7 trays and the 8th tray is open spaced. Each tray with at least some amount of wear or damage. Rare with only 3 having been seen at auction and this being one of those three (Previous: Heritage August 19, 2021 Sale, lot 33165. Cabinet/Case only, no medals. Size: Approx. 13.5" (L) X 9 1/4" (W) x 4 3/4" (H)”
