Harald Birgfeld, geb. in Rostock, lebt seit 2001 in Heitersheim. Von Hause aus Dipl.-Ingenieur, befasst er sich seit 1980 mit Lyrik. 10 Gedichtbande sowie 2 Bucher in Prosa erschienen von ihm, in mindestens 23 Anthologien ist er vertreten. Harald Birgfeld schrieb seine Gedichte, inzwischen mehr als 12.000 Strophen, uberwiegend wahrend der Fahrten in der Hamburger S-Bahn zur und von der Arbeit. In den sprachlich aufs AEusserste reduzierten 132 Gedichten dieser Sammlung setzt Birgfeld Worte und Satzfragmente gegeneinander, lasst sie Pole bilden, die einen weiten Assoziationsraum eroeffnen. Die Freiheit, die sie dem Leser lassen, diesen Freiraum zu fullen, macht ihren eigenen Reiz aus: die Lekture der Gedichte wird zur Herausforderung, sich seinen eigenen Erfahrungen zu stellen. Dabei verliert sich Birgfeld nirgends in Abstraktion und leeren Begriffen: er versucht im Gegenteil, mit wenigen, doch bewusst gewahlten Stilmitteln (Klangfarben, sparsamen Reimen) die Erfahrung der Sinne in Sprache umzusetzen. Wo aber die Umwelt diese Moeglichkeit von 'Erfahrung' im woertlichen Sinne nicht mehr zulasst, werden die Gedichte zum Zeugen der vollendeten Entfremdung.
