The hinged lid works perfectly and opens and closes securely and the interior gilding is pristine and the glass mirror still nice and clear. Most importantly the beautiful lilac guilloche enamelling is in fabulous undamaged condition with no chips or restoration and no surface scratching at all, looks hardly used. Superb silver box and a really more uncommon colour enamel.”
