Exactly as described! Unit is quiet and works on inverter power very well. I produce my own electricity with solar electric panels and build DC to AC inverters to convert the solar DC to run my home and the induction cooktop I bought several years ago did not work well at times off that same sine wave inverter. This system works at 180 volts, nominal, off from 30 golf cart batteries and about 1700 watts of solar. Thank you Chad Lampkin
