The rotary stopper rubber has hardened over time, and some parts have been replaced with cork, but the rotary stops and returns to its position without any problems, and the lever noise is only due to wear and tear of the parts over time, so it does not affect playing and has not been replaced. The instrument shows significant signs of discoloration and rust due to aging, which are characteristic of unlacquered instruments, but it is still in good condition and can be used for many years to come. There are some loose screw holes where the hardware is attached to the hard case. The screws are not loose enough to come undone during transport, but they may come loose if pulled too hard.
