This is a Pfleuger Summit 1997L reel on a Coil Casting rod with pearl handles. The coil caster has the circle coil metal bend on the pole and one eyelet. The Bakelite handles are pearl in color. The handle pieces do have some stress marks from age and use. No makers marks on the rod i could locate. The reel is a 1993L Pfleuger Summit. It is in great shape. It has a smooth action when being reeled in. There is "R.G." engraved on the back of the reel seating (out of eyesight when on rod). It is in good shape for its age. Some minor scratches and marks from storage and use. This item is not in perfect condition. It shows signs of wear and storage from the years. I found this item in a box i got from a local estate sale. You will get the exact item you see in the pictures as you see it. Nothing more or less. Please closely examine the pictures for the best look possible!”
