It arrived fairly protected, i.e. just slightly kneaded on the edges but surely doesn't affect gameplay, not even the visual aspect of the map. It is fine. I would still recommend the seller. As per the item description, I'm a hardcore Catan fine so I knew what to expect beforehand.
