So this Device does what it says, however I missed that it specified requiring Dolby Digital (AC3 codec) or DTS as its only codecs, so unfortunately It cannot decode AAC 5.1 meaning I had to transcode all audio In my movie library. This Cannot run speakers directly and still requires an amp. this should be mentioned a bit more directly. As such unless you have a AVR that accepts line level 5.1 in, or old powered computer speakers. Buy an AVR. Seller was communicative. Language was a barrier.
