Bought "IBM 9207-8I 8-Port 6Gbps PCI-e IT MODE FW:P20 LSI 9207-8I +2*SFF8087 SATA US" and it arrived very quickly. I don't trust I know how to decipher whether these are authentic (I suspect not), but it appears like an LSI 9207-8I in IT-mode to the box, and, well, it just plain works. Provided this unit doesn't fail exceedingly quickly, color me well pleased. I used in a Dell Poweredge T20 server tower, so that I could remove the PCIe SATA card I had needed in order to gain an additional port.
