I specified that I needed a functioning stapler, and that if it didn't work, to please cancel the order instead of sending it. The seller went ahead and sent one that didn't work properly. The seller agreed to a return with refund, but either didn't process the refund, or tried to fight it - I can't tell which- so ebay intervened and I see a refund on PayPal. So, all ended well, I think, thanks to ebay.

Refund was submitted, not fought. The issue is that eBay refused to process it. This user is ignoring my messages. One more reason I'm moving away from this declining platform.

Hi- apparently the seller DID issue a refund request, but something got bungled and it didn't come through smoothly. So, in the end, I would buy from this seller again in the future.
