This is a great example of the typical St George and Dragon image the point at which George lunges his lance into the Dragon. This version is beautifully imagined George and the Dragon are central to the picture plane whilst the battle takes place in a fine landscape, the Princess is seen in the R/H top corner closer and opposite to her father's castle, the whole battle scene is full of colour and action, it's very beautiful and I really do love it thank you so much, I'm glad I made such a find.
