The package came with two obvious slits, in a "V" form. Clean slits, not tears. They went through all 3 layers ... the outside package, the enclosed plastic outer packaging, and the zippered package inside. I will remove the item to see if the slits ripped the netting. If it did, I will send pictures and await further instructions as to a return.
