The armor itself is great, but whatever it has been coated with smells absolutely horrendous. It smells like crude oil. I would strongly suggest using low-VOC alternatives in the future, or ventilating it in advance, as some people (including many of my acquaintances) are very sensitive to strong chemical odors. It doesn't bother me too much because I can leave it on my balcony to air out, but not everyone has that option.
