It solves most filtration problems when the traditional dead-end filtration offers difficulties. The aim of this book is to increase knowledge in this new technique. Only the most characteristic examples of application are reported, with theories that have a practical relevance to the material presented in this volume. Readers are referred to a bibliography of titles in the same field for research and reference purposes.
