Ordered item on 5th May 2024 and seller tracking showed it had been posted 7th May 2024.
I contacted seller on 15.5.24 informing that item had not arrived and received a reply that she would contact the Post Office and come back to me.
As I had not heard anything by 18.5.24 I contacted Ebay and was refunded by them on 23.5.24 .

I did indeed contact Royal mail and was waiting on a reply. I don't understand why Buyers think I have a direct number to contact and have the issue resolved the very same day. Like everyone else I have to wait for an outcome. It was actually myself that issued a refund to the case that had been opened once confirmation had been received the item was classed as lost. If you buy online expect that time will be needed to resolve issues, it can not be done instantly
