The Nikon Nikkor 70-210mm f/4.0-5.6 D is a compact, mid-range telephoto zoom lens that is suitable for many different applications. This includes sports, portraits, and travel photography. With a diameter of 2.5 inches, this product is a retooled version of the similar f/4 autofocus lens. Although sold in the late 1980s and early 1990s, it still has something to offer for hobbyists and non-professional photographers who need to capture a crisp and sharp image at any range. This device is essentially compatible with many different FX or DX cameras that have an internal focusing motor. That means it will work with all compatible 35 mm Nikon SLRs and DSLRs. Whether you're using a D50, D70, D2X, or other camera types, it will support and enhance the system features of many different models. A Nikon F-mount with 5x CPU contacts is required to attach this device.This D version of the Nikkor 70-210mm f/4.0-5.6 optical lens provides quick focusing that allows you to capture fast-moving objects with precision and ease. It has focal lengths of 70 mm, 85 mm, 100 mm, 135 mm, and 210 mm, which are clearly marked on the barrel for convenience. With the aid of a CPU interface system, it displays distance information on the camera body while also providing you, the photographer, the ability to manually focus whenever you want. It has easy zoom control via a one-touch push and pull zoom ring. The system is engineered to accommodate 62 mm filters and 12 different elements in nine groups. This device features seven diaphragm blades that can reach a minimum aperture size of f/32 at 70 mm or f/45 at 210 mm focal length. The closest focusing distance you can achieve with this device is 1.2 meters for all zoom ranges in manual focus.In order to optimize the performance of your camera, this Nikon lens is designed with an integrated coating that minimizes ghosting effects and annoying flares. By increasing the camera's light transmission efficiency, it can essentially achieve a more consistent and uniform color balance. Nikon ensures that all of its lenses are specially designed with a unique integrated coating. The number of coatings applied to the device depends on both the lens type and glass. Coatings are most effective for lenses with a large number of elements, like the Nikon Nikkor 70-210mm f/4.0-5.6.This Nikon Nikkor AF-D lens has a strong and durable exterior, so it can endure rugged outdoor conditions while still delivering powerful results. Whether you are on vacation or attending a special event, this device can get the job done. Its body features a metallic filter thread and a jacket covering a greater part of the barrel, held in place by screws rather than molded plastic. Only the zoom and aperture rings are made from plastic. Weighing approximately 600 grams, this device features a compact and lightweight body for easier transportation and mobility. When it was originally released, this device came with a 62 mm front lens cap, a rear lens cap, and a hard case.
