I found on my gramps work bench while going thru his estate. it is solid wood with the exception of a metal nut & bolt. The tool does not have the capability to close flat. there is a pocket cut into both sides of one piece of wood that keeps the second piece at an angle. when square, the inside measurements are 7" x 101-/2". the outside measurements are 8-1/2" x 12-1/4". there is a hole drilled in the two arms which leads me to believe this could have been used for drawing arcs or half circles but I am in no way certain. any info would be helpful. ITEM IS BEING SOLD AS IS IN USED PICTURED CONDITION. PLEASE ASK.ANY/ALL QUESTION BEFORE BIDDING. THANKS”
