I was away and just opened the box of shoes. To my dismay, he shoes are not a 6 1/2 but probably an 8 1/2 . You might have misread the size and taken a size 6 1/2 for a 8 1/2. They are much too big with a large space in the back of the shoes when I put them on. Also, the condition of the inside of the shoes is very worn but I would have kept them had they been a 6 1/2 .I will return them but I don't feel it is fair for me to pay for the shipping since I consider it to be false advertising
