No instructions on how to prepare the cask before adding alcohol which would have been helpful. Anyway, I have started my pre-soak in cold water and so far there have been little leakage, one slightly better than the other. I will leave to soak for 24 to 48 hours to swell the wood and hopefully create a tight barrel.
