It takes some time to install it and don't forget that the optical sound wire when removed from the NTG3 socket needs to plug back again using the carplay wires which comes to the the NTG from the new device-otherwise no sound available. This is missing in the manual what the seller supplied. The car settings needs to be on Audio AUX to be able to have sound etc. I am very pleased with the unit!

Apple carplay is a massive improvement for older cars, really glad I did bought this unit for my 2010 E-Class. Take your time with the installation to avoid damaging the interior trim (or pay an auto electrician to do it for you)
