Based on the 10 volume manga that established the animation collective called CLAMP its reputation, RG VEDA is a two part OVA series that takes place at the dawn of time, when the gods, led by the benevolent and powerful Tentei, ruled the universe. However, the balance of power shifts when Tentei is brutally slaughtered by his general, the vicious Taishakuten who brandishes Tentei's severed head as a symbol of the start of a new era, Taishakuten's era. However, legend states that six warriors will come forward to restore world to its former glory. Filled with the beautiful animation and character design that have become the hallmarks of CLAMP animation, RG VEDA is gripping and hugely entertaining series.
