The book I brought looked alright but it reeked of cigarette smoke so much so that no normal person could read it. Other people also found it impossible to read. It was not just the smell one gets with old books. Indeed I have read one of the other volumes of this work. The smell is so strong that I think the seller must have been aware of this and should have pointed it out in the description of the book. I would very strongly recommend not doing business with the seller.

The book is 90 years old and could have been owned by any number of smokers in that time. It did not smell of smoke to me AND I told him to send it back for a refund , but he wanted to keep it AND have his money back. BEWARE OF THIS BUYER!
