Il suddetto decreto definisce consumatore "la persona fisica che agisce per scopi non riferibili all'attività professionale eventualmente svolta". Questo diritto è perciò esercitabile solo da coloro che acquistano come persone fisiche per scopi personali non riconducibili alla propria attività lavorativa.
