Item fits in the place of OEM part, but the splines are a loose fit on the washer drum drive shaft, which caused a premature failure after 4 wash cycles (when this fails, the drum will no longer spin with the motor). The OEM part is a very tight fit and does not exhibit the same looseness. I ordered 2 parts, knowing this piece is a common failure point on my model wash machine, and am already on the second piece. I would not buy this product again.
