Synopsis
A scruffy poodle rescued by an animal shelter is found to be a very rare breed that was thought to be extinct. As Sassafrass becomes accustomed to the high life, she turns unbearably snobby and ends up back in the animal shelter because she is just too demanding. In the end, she learns about humility, friendship, and loyalty. Full color., When an exceedingly scruffy poodle is groomed after being rescued by an animal shelter, she is found to be a very rare breed of poodle thought extinct long ago-the Royal Bedrosian Long-Necked Spotted Poodle! Sassie quickly becomes accustomed to the high life as a Princess and turns unbearably snotty and demanding- Regular dog food does not fit her standards, and she simply cannot be seen on an ordinary leash . But when all of Sassie's preening goes to her head, she's up back in the animal shelter . However in the end Sassie learns a little lesson in humility-and friendship and loyalty . (Although she knows that once a Princess always a Princess!)
