I used Stinger kits when I installed JBL speakers into the doors of my car in 2020/21, so I was already aware of the benefits of this stuff. Before I refitted the door trims, I tested the speakers before fitting the sound deadening, and again afterwards, and there was a definite 'tightening' of the bass, as I wanted, because I was also installing a JBL BassPro Nano active subwoofer, and didn't want the door speakers booming.
This kit is a first step towards reducing road noise.
