The item is in fine shape, but the photos from the listing appear to literally crop out how damaged the original packaging is. I don’t expect a 20+ year old new in box item to be pristine, but I would have appreciated knowing what it was going to look like before buying.

Unfortunately, the package was crushed on one side when it was delivered. The handle is broken where it meets the basket, on one side, also. The glass shards are on the paper towel. It cannot be repaired. I don't think it is the seller's fault, though. Sometimes things just get broken in shipping. The item as very well packaged.
