Seller notes: “This is a handmade cotton quilt from mid-century, approx the 60's, measuring 102" x 76". ... “This is a handmade cotton quilt from mid-century, approx the 60's, measuring 102" x 76". Traditional pattern "Orange Peel" done in orange and yellow. Very nice, even stitches. The piecing with curved seams is beautifully executed. The area with the pieced squares measures 91" x 53 1/2" - this is the size of the top of a full-sized bed, allowing enough to cover pillows and tuck underneath. It could be a perfect bedspread for a full-sized bed with the pattern on top and the 11" scalloped drop on the sides and at the foot of the bed. The quilt is very sturdy with no worn or frayed areas. There is one small area of orange along an edge that has some light fading. It was probably on a bed in front of a window for a while. There is also a tiny black dot on the front. Both of these issues are displayed on the last two pictures above. You need to look very close to detect both. Please see pictures for a close look at construction and condition.”
