Seller notes: “This is an antique c1930's Greek mythology themed oil lamp. The lamp is in excellent condition and ... “This is an antique c1930's Greek mythology themed oil lamp. The lamp is in excellent condition and ready to display. I do not know if it is in working order and ready to use right away. It is made from pewter, which is in excellent condition and shows no signs of any scratches, chips or cracks and no signs of any previous repairs. The base has four bird claw feet, which lead to four Griffin creatures on the stem. The bowl of the lamp depicts a frieze of mermaids playing musical instruments and mermen holding tridents. The rim shows crashing waves, which add to the mythical Greek theme beautifully.”
