Roscoe & associates offers warranties on their used MacBook Pros. The unit's chipset I bought is from 2012, however it is a quad-core with 16 GB of RAM so there you go! I tried to compile "qemu" in Homebrew for running a VM and it partly worked. That is a very focused and specialized task done from Terminal. The fact that it finished 70% of the task is remarkable. The machine was clean of dust and smudges. Good value for the money. Might do business with roscoe-and-associates again sometime.
